New guide to mapping the impact of investments

August 15, 2018

The Impact Management Project has released a guide to mapping the impact of a portfolio of investments using the Investor’s Impact Matrix, a classification system for investment products.

The Matrix guide is primarily designed to help asset managers use impact data to assess the impact ‘class’ of their underlying assets.

The guide is also valuable for asset owners and advisors who can use the Matrix to find investments aligned with their intentions and make management decisions through a more detailed understanding of their portfolio’s impact (like PGGM did).

Download the guide below to learn more, and please let us know if you have any questions or feedback.

A number of ‘pilot testing’ investors have made their mapping results public. If you would like to publicly share your results, let know.

Get Involved

Whether you are a frontline business, asset owner, intermediary or evaluator, managing impact starts with talking about impact in a way that everyone can understand.

Will you start using these shared fundamentals when you talk about your impact? Have you already started, and have an experience to share?

Tell us how it’s working here.
